1sts beat GSB 1 - 0 on Tuesday night at Watnall Road. 2nds had a great 4 - 0 win at Basford Reserves on Bank Holiday Monday to make it 4 points from 2 games for new boss Simon Payne. Top Scorers updated. Reports in 'Latest News'
A couple of fixture changes affecting the 2nds. The game at Netherfield scheduled for Thursday has been postponed due to lack of pitch availability. Netherfield will come back to us with dates late Sept/ early Oct. The 2nds game with Pelican 2nds on Sept 11th has been postponed as they have 6 players in the Notts Youth U18 squad- a midweek date in the week after seems likely. Watch this space fopr both

The Fantasy Leagues first Manager of the Month award of £10 goes to the Reserve Team Boss Simon Payne with his Inter Boozin team reaching an impressive 202 points, well done Payney !!

Big push please for the fancy dress fund raising bike ride from Leicester City to Forest on Sunday 26th September (8am start) - should be fun. Players completing the event and raising over 150 quid are exempt from subs for the season. Those who made the effort to complete the Pride Park to City Ground run last season will testify to the sense of achievement they felt. Will you be one of those sharing that feeling or one who can't be arsed and stays in bed?
Well done to all associated with our 1st XI after they were awarded the NSL Senior Division 'Fair Play' award. The award is based on marks from the opposition after each game as to how we conduct ourselves and shows that the lads are held in high regard by their peers. Our 3rds also won the award for their league which shows that the game can be played the right way in the modern world of chavs, ref baiters and thugs.
