Good luck to the 1st XI on Tuesday as they try for the second time to get the Notts Senior Cup game with CML giants Forest Town played (7.45). Reward for winning is an away tie with East Midlands Counties side Gedling MW and a seeding for next season's competition

News- 1sts drew 1 - 1 with Rolls. Sounds like a fair result. Gav Rees got the Boots goal. The 2nds went down 1 - 0 to a penalty against in form Arnold Town Reserves whilst the 3rds were beaten 3 - 0 by AFC Bridgford with two of the goals coming in the last three minutes. I saw the second half of this one and the lads gave a great account of themselves. Tactical genius Ray Penhale almost turned the game by throwing on 'Micky Quinn' with 20 left and the big man led the line superbly. Tom Groves hit the bar late on too but the lads can be pleased with their efforts. More info to follow Monday
